✨ Better Than K-Tel: All Indie, All Holiday, All Delightfully Rebellious
Fruitcake doesn’t just make a comeback — it starts a full-blown holiday insurrection.
This week, our third installment of Eclectic Wonderland’s All-Holiday Month kicks things up with quirky classics, festive flair, and a glitter-dusted indie underdog anthem or two.
It’s all about that cozy chaos: the fruitcake that mysteriously disappeared, the ex that mysteriously reappeared, and the soundtrack that makes it all feel like an indie holiday film gone rogue.

🎶 The Fruitcake Mix tradition started as a way to share holiday cheer—without the actual fruitcake (thanks to some...traumatic childhood encounters with the freezer variety). We’re serving up a tastier tradition—one you’ll want to share! 🎶
The Backstory: The Fruitcake Saga
Every Christmas, my family received a fruitcake that immediately went into what we called the "Fruitcake CryoFreeze"—an ancient Frigidaire at the base of the stairs. Over the years, we amassed quite the collection, but no one dared eat them.
Years later, I tried a fruitcake soaked in rum (thanks to a friend's grandma). Let’s just say...it wasn’t for me. That’s when I decided to start a better tradition: creating holiday mixes we could actually enjoy. Hence, Fruitcake Mixes were born—fun, festive, and totally freezer-free!

This year, we’re sharing the infamous recipe behind Mickey’s dangerously delicious rum balls — rolled with love, laced with sass, and soaked in just enough Bacardi to start a singalong or spark a scandal.
Whether you’re hosting a holiday lounge party, baking with chosen family, or just sneaking sweets between playlists — these no-bake bites bring the heat, the cheer, and a little old-school mischief to your season.
