Eclectic Wonderland returns with our annual Turkey Drop — the indie-pop fever dream inspired by WKRP’s legendary “Turkeys Away.” Tune in for post-punk poultry, quirky holiday cuts, and a brand-new spin on gratitude season. Featuring this year’s Gala Violet holiday drops and the 2025 Dysfunctional Holiday Sampler, it’s the perfect soundtrack for leftover sandwiches, emotional support pie, and your family’s seasonal weirdness.

This week’s Eclectic Wonderland is all about comfort and reunion. We’re talking root-deep indie faves, friend-sent treasures, and bands that span high school memories to soul-family collabs. From three tracks by The Mommyheads (I’m obsessed), to new released gems from Gala Violet (“Babbling Buffoon”) and This Twisted Wreckage, this mix hugs you with warm chords, then dances you gently through the wreckage.

This week’s episode of Eclectic Wonderland is titled In Pieces, a tribute to grief, healing, memory, and music. Featuring the new Gala Violet single released in loving memory of DJ Tea’s brother Mikey, this show holds space for those walking through the fire. Phew. This spring and summer have been one wild ride. Between family, projects, paperwork, and traveling across timelines (real and metaphorical), we’ve been juggling shows, repeat weeks, and spontaneous broadcasts squeezed between life’s unpredictable dance steps. Some days the ankle cooperated. Some days it did not. But through it all, Eclectic Wonderland kept spinning… even if we had to replay a few favorites along the way.
