Random Acts Of Music
These Random Acts Of Music are always hard for me to put together. They are the Birthday Mixes I create for my baby brother’s birthday. We lost Mikey in 2016, this is always a hard mix for me to write about, and it is personal. It is a mix of memories, some of our favorites, things I wanted to say, things I wish I said, a celebration of life, also things I wish I could say. I spent so much time worried about that day when I woke up to this phone call. There was a lot going on. He was in a few Abusive relationships: with alcohol, with drugs, and a girl we wish he could have left. {to say she was bad news was being kind}. My heart is still broken, he was way to young. We had been hopeful because he had been on a better path of recovery until he met her.
He was a sensitive, sweet, and loving soul with the biggest heart and smile, and beat laugh. He had a tough start.
Not a day goes by that I don't miss him and wish we had more time with him.
This mix is for Mikey.
