Un-Dead Air

Updated: Oct 29, 2025

Un-Dead Air

This week’s episode of Eclectic Wonderland is a love letter to the gothy Halloween classics that shaped a generation, and the movies that made us fall in love with eyeliner and graveyards.

From The Lost Boys and Addams Family to Young Frankenstein and Beetlejuice, we’re embracing that smoky VHS aesthetic and gothic glam energy with a playlist that dances between post-punk, darkwave, vampire anthems, and shadowy cabaret.

From The Lost Boys to Young Frankenstein, this week’s sets resurrect the best of goth, glam, and everything undead.

Tune in, darlings... we saved you a seat at the picnic.

šŸ¦‡Ā Featured Highlights

• šŸŽ¶ New from Gala Violet – ā€œPicnic for the Wickedā€ made its radio debut today. It’s part of their upcoming dark fairytale concept album Masquerade of Shadows, and it’s deliciously twisted.

• šŸ—£ļø Mickey Fingers Returns – With another delightfully spooky Rocktoberrr station ID. His voice is becoming part of the haunted airwaves…

• 🌹 Bernadette’s Farewell – IAMX’s ā€œBernadetteā€ plays like a love letter and an elegy. With Janine Gezang departing the band this fall, this track hits differently... haunting, fierce, and full of feeling.

• šŸ§Ÿā€ā™‚ļø Iconic Anthems – Bauhaus, Siouxsie, NIN, Rob Zombie, Shriekback, and more fill the graveyard dancefloor.

Set 3 kicks off with a chilling new Rocktoberrr station IDĀ from Mickey Fingers, leading into the debut of Gala Violet’s ā€œPicnic For The Wickedā€Ā ā€” a theatrical dark cabaret single from the upcoming concept album Masquerade of Shadows. Think haunted high tea with cursed croquet, Mephisto’s wine pairings, and a very sinister scone or two.

We also feature IAMX’s ā€œBernadetteā€, in honor of the band’s October US tour. Bernadette herself may not be on this tour, as she’s stepped away to launch a new coaching venture focused on supporting neurodivergent creatives; but her haunting presence and performance still echo through this show.

Thank you for wandering through the shadows with us this week on Eclectic Wonderland.

This was just the Third of five haunted dispatches for Rocktoberr, each one a musical sƩance stitched with strange beauty, alternate realities, and just the right amount of goosebumps.

We’ll be back next Wednesday with another twisted trip down the rabbit hole.

Until then, keep your eyeliner smudged, your potions bubbling, and your speakers turned up to eleven-and-a-half.

Stay strange,

Stay wild,

And stay… Wickedly Undone.
