We took a little time off, wandered Wisconsin, got lost in a corn maze, found another story, opened an envelope we probably should have left alone, and danced anyway. This week: Somewhere Past the Orchard, The Invitation, and Fuck-It, We’re Dancing. Plus pumpkin spice cupcakes, because October is knocking.

Some playlists are collections of songs. Others become something more. Petals & Hooks: The Artifact began as a transmission, a collection of contradictions, memories, and questions. Follow the corridor into The Puppet Master Returns and discover another chapter inside Masquerade of Shadows.

Some weeks ask for patience. This one asked for four hours, several dozen swear words, a shitlist, a dance floor, and one deeply unresolved cookie situation. Fuck This Playlist is a glorious four-hour middle finger to bad weeks, bullshit, broken systems, irritating people, and everything else that has overstayed its welcome. Mickey Fingers and Celeste Violet open the Complaint Department, turn the volume up, and keep going until the rage becomes rhythm. Unfiltered. Unhin

Enter the corridors with Mickey Fingers and Celeste Violet for an 7.5-hour No Exit broadcast under the Petals & Hooks banner. Corridor One and Corridor Two run as a single haunted maze of rooms, longform mixes, and cinematic deep cuts, built like a movie you listen to instead of watch.

The boardwalk has disappeared beneath the tide. Sea, Swallow Me drifts through dream-pop haze, ocean-static devotion, fading photographs, midnight longing, and the beautiful ache of becoming undone beneath motel neon and moonlit waves. The final chapter in the Snapshots From The Boardwalk trilogy unfolds through memory, surrender, soft collapse, and the rooms we return to when the world becomes too heavy.

Some rooms stay with you. Some follow you home. And some… you knew better, but you went in anyway. This week on Velvet Umbrella Radio: After Hours, Mickey Fingers opens the second door in Lost Rooms—the rooms you shouldn’t have stayed in.

Some places don’t exist anymore… but they never really left. This week, Mickey Fingers takes the board for the first chapter of Lost Rooms—a four-part transmission built from memory, music, and the rooms that still glow somewhere in your head.

Petals & Hooks is the After Hours darkwave ritual from Velvet Umbrella Radio, curated by Mickey Fingers and DJ Celeste. Four continuous hours of post-punk, coldwave, darkwave, and shadow-soaked synths stitched together as one long nocturnal transmission. From Chromatics and Boy Harsher to Molchat Doma, Bauhaus, Dead Can Dance, and Fields of the Nephilim, the mix drifts from frozen city streets to cathedral-sized gothic finales before dissolving into the early-morning haze.
