A Season of Catching Up… and Cheese
Hi friends,
Phew. This spring and summer have been one wild ride. Between family, projects, paperwork, and traveling across timelines (real and metaphorical), we’ve been juggling shows, repeat weeks, and spontaneous broadcasts squeezed between life’s unpredictable dance steps. Some days the ankle cooperated. Some days it did not.
But through it all, Eclectic Wonderland kept spinning… even if we had to replay a few favorites along the way.
*Each playlist mentioned in this newsletter includes a video playlist embedded in the show notes! Click the links to access the show notes!
Thanks for staying tuned, laughing along, and supporting the magic. Let’s tumble back through the past couple of months and catch up on everything we aired!
🌟 {Links Are Pink!}

May 7 – WDRT Pledge Drive
We played live & helped out at wdrt for the day. I didn’t get to record the show this week, but we’re thrilled to report:

🎶 Music by: Delia Derbyshire, The Waitresses, The Flying Lizards

June 4 – Stayin’ Alive (Repeat)
Alternate Versions and Unexpected Covers
An old favorite, revisited: lounge takes, lofi flips, cosmic reinterpretations, and Richard Cheese doing Queen.
🎶 Music by: Say Lou Lou, Sam Smith, The Flaming Lips, Grace Potter

June 11 – I Repeat Myself Again
A Better Than K-Tel Indie Adventure
A lovingly curated blend of indie anthems, reissues, and beloved obscurities with personal stories behind the tracks.

July 30 - Soul Transportation
Welcome to this week’s wildly whimsical transmission of Eclectic Wonderland! This week’s theme: Soul Transportation, a sonic voyage for the senses. 🛸✨
What happens when you feed an entire collection of oddities, novelties, electronic weirdness, dada pop, and retro futurism into a magical computer run by gnomes and talking toast? This show.
Expect tracks that collide genres, sample the surreal, and laugh at logic. You’ll hear robots with heartbreak, gnomes with rhythm, and paranoid telephones trying to reach the mothership.
🎧 Featuring:
The Bran Flakes, DJ Me DJ You, Wax Tailor, Negativland, iMonster, The Flaming Lips, King Gizzard, Lemon Demon, Ursula 1000, Miracle Musical, and more.
