The signal has been busy.

Over the past few weeks we’ve been quietly rebuilding corridors, updating doors, cleaning up transmissions, and adding a few new surprises throughout Velvet Umbrella Radio.

Some rooms are getting refreshed.

Some archives are expanding.

Some signals are becoming easier to find.

And a few strange new doors may have appeared where there weren’t any before.

You ever notice how some places don’t really get bigger… they just reveal more rooms?

That’s kind of what’s been happening around Velvet Umbrella lately.

While Celeste has been busy updating pages, rebuilding portals, polishing transmissions, and teaching various pieces of technology to behave themselves, we’ve also been spending time thinking about how we share our music, stories, videos, artwork, and all the strange little artifacts that seem to collect around these projects.

The funny thing is that none of it started as a plan.

One playlist became a radio show.

One radio show became a website.

One website became a collection of corridors.

One corridor became a world.

And now here we are. Still broadcasting.

Still creating. Still finding new doors.

Same frequency. Different light.📡
