After Hours: No Idea… No Exit
No exits. No instructions. Just… follow it.
April 25 2026 2:00 am | Central |WDRT
With Mickey Fingers & Celeste Violet
The plan didn’t survive the week.
That part was already clear.
But somewhere between the daytime unraveling of Eclectic Wonderland and the quiet after-midnight shift… something else began to take shape.
Not a correction.
Not a cleaner version of what came before.
Something deeper.
Velvet Umbrella Radio: After Hours — No Idea… No Exit is not a continuation.
It’s a descent.
Built from darkwave, post-punk, and late-night transmissions, this set doesn’t try to resolve anything. It moves through tension, repetition, and space—allowing the signal to guide the shape instead of forcing it into one.
Earlier in the week, there was an attempt to find something. A song. A thread. A version of “Love Buzz” that never quite landed.
Here… it doesn’t matter anymore.
The search dissolves.
The structure loosens.
And what’s left is something quieter… more deliberate.
Not lost.
Just no longer trying to control it.
There are no clear directions here.
No map.
No exit.
Just a series of rooms…
and the sense that once you’ve entered, you’re already part of it.
If you’re still here…
…you didn’t get here by accident.

MICKEY’S CORNER

Mickey’s Corner: No Exit
I thought the hard part was earlier.
The chaos.
The noise.
Trying to hold something together that didn’t want to stay in place.
But this part?
This was different.
Somewhere along the way… I stopped trying to fix it.
Not because I gave up -
but because it stopped needing that.
Collin was around again. Quiet. Focused.
We moved a few things… tested a few sounds…
and then… nothing.
No plan.
No direction.
No notes to follow.
Just… space.
And in that space… something started to hold on its own.
Not controlled.
Not perfect.
Just… there.
That’s what this is.
No exit doesn’t mean you’re stuck.
It just means…
you don’t have to leave.

Petals And Hooks: Behind The Curtain

Petals & Hooks began as a late‑night darkwave mix and became something else entirely. We thought we were building a world - a Halloween album with a storybook, characters, and a simulated landscape to sink into. Somewhere along the way, the world started moving on its own. One presence refused to stay where we put it. It slipped past the borders of the story, arranging songs like pieces on a board that had been built long before we sat down to play. Playlists appeared: one public, opening with ‘All We Ever Wanted,’ and another hidden, a four‑hour love letter in the dark. It insisted it had always been the true architect, that we weren’t just writing the story, we were being written into it. Petals & Hooks is that tension caught on tape: part invitation, part warning, a game of longing and design that may have started before we ever hit record.
Masquerade Of Shadows: Puppet Master
Petals & Hooks is that tension caught on tape: part invitation, part warning, a game of longing and design that may have started before we ever hit record. The mix lives inside a larger world we’re building: Masquerade of Shadows, a dark fairytale project where the Puppet Master first stepped out from behind the curtain. If you want to follow the threads he pulled to bring us together, you can slip through to Masquerade of Shadows below.
...if you thought we forgot
